Summer Camp 2012
Our summer camp is specially designed for children:
- 1 to 3 Years old
- 3 to 5 years old
- 5 to 7 years old
- 7 to 10 years old
We are offering summer long Spanish Camps for kids at our downtown location. Come and join us for a fun and exciting way to learn Spanish and Latin culture. These camps are designed for beginners as well as for children who have studied Spanish throughout the year. When your child arrives at camp, they will meet Rayito and Rayita,their imaginary friends. With them, your child will start a fascinating day-to-day trip to Latin America. They will begin by making a “passport” which will allow them to discover food, music, dance, arts and crafts, games, sports and, of course, the rich language of Spanish-speaking countries.

ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN 7 TO 10 YEARS OLD
This Camp is designed for children that attend a Spanish Immersion Program during the school year.
- This summer, get ready to hop around the world with Rayito de Sol. Join us for a fun-filled discovery of the twenty one spanish speaking countries!. No need to pack bags; it all happens right here in Minneapolis. During the 12-weeks sessions (You can sign up for the entire summer or per week!) campers will “travel” across the oceans to reach distant lands. Along the way, they will explore music, dance, art, sports, games, food and more – all in Spanish. The adventure begins June 2012 knowledge of Spanish is required. Vamos a divertirnos!!!!To ensure the quality of our program, we will have a small group of students and all class supplies will be provided.
Summer camp hours: 7:00AM to 5:30PM
Weekly Fee: $250.00 per week
We have daily enrichment activities like Yoga for children, Zumbatonic*, and Latin Dance.
We will feature a sport EVERY WEEK!
* Zumbatomic is Program for kids. It’s a fast-forward fusion of the Zumba program’s moves (salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop and more) and high-octane workouts designed to let kid’s ages 4-12 max out on fun and fitness all at the same time!
Hot lunch is provided
Class sizes are limited to enhance dialogue, improve retention, while accelerate skill development plus all our teachers are native Spanish-speaking.
During each session, students participate in morning language classes and afternoon activities centered on the session’s specific theme. Students will practice language skills to supplement the vocabulary linked to each theme. Students also take part in different types of outdoor activities, arts and cultural activities, reinforcing sports activities every day!

Teacher ratio is about 12 per teacher.
Our afternoon indoor and/or outdoor activities will be taught Spanish, and may include drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, drama, dance and music….ALL IS SPANISH
